NSSA Panel Discussion: Planning for Your Company’s Future Resiliency

NSSA Directors and Members present an overview of the current sign industry landscape and discuss what they see as the trajectory for future sales, inventory, and finance. Planned topics include supply chain issues, sales forecasting, new markets and approaches, cash flow, and leasing.

 

Meet the Panelists: 

Paul Tripp, NSSA President, President Classic Signs Inc.

As President of Classic Signs for 32 years, Paul has had the privilege of seeing the sign industry develop in many ways and has received various sign design awards including those from The New Hampshire Sign Association, The United States Sign Council and The Builders Association of Greater Boston. Married for 42 years, Paul and his wife, Becky, live in Amherst, NH, and are proud parents of two grown children and four grandchildren. Paul is dedicated to his church where he currently serves as an Elder and teaches regularly. Paul enjoys golf, ball room dancing and working on home construction projects.

 

Joe Mauldin, NSSA Director, Director Strategic Ventures Group, Alliance Franchise Brands

Joe Mauldin has 20+ years of experience in the sign and graphics industry. He currently serves in the Strategic Ventures Division of Alliance Franchise Brands, a network with over 600 sign and print offices worldwide. During his career Joe has developed several domestic and global projects that focus on M&A rebrands, safety, and employee engagement. In his personal time Joe enjoys history, sports, cooking, and spending time with his wife and two children.

 

 

Bruce Walker, NSSA Director, Director Wide Format Technologies, Central Paper

Immediately after active duty in the US Army, Bruce Walker started in the graphics industry as an artist, graphic designer, and printer. Seemingly being in the right place at the right time repeatedly has turned into a blessed career that has spanned the globe over the past 30 years, providing print application expertise to clients in nearly 30 countries. Some of these right-place opportunities resulted in being the first person to work with and figure out the development of grand-format fabric graphics for the movie and theatrical industries. Learning is the greatest pursuit of living and Bruce truly loves living a digitally graphic life.

 

Edward Sullivan, CEO, Hanson Sign Companies

Ed Sullivan is the CEO and majority owner at Hanson Sign Companies in Falconer, NY. Hanson is a wholesale manufacturer of a wide array of sign types from channel letters and Illuminated cabinets to embossed Lexan faces and sandblasted cedar or HDU. Ed came to the sign industry over five years ago after a 30-year career in the consumer-packaged goods industry. He has three children and four grandchildren with another on the way. Ed is a Buffalo Bills fan, enjoys skiing, golf and working on projects around his home.
